Dana Faye Rullman, age 83, of Dillsboro, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2015 at the Waters of Dillsboro. She was born May 30, 1931 in Bright, IN to Dixon
Miller and Bertha Roark Miller. Dana graduated from Versailles High School, class of 1949. That same year she was united in marriage to Lloyd Rullman,
and they were the parents of 4 children. Dana was employed for many years at Schenley Distillery. She was a long time member of St. John Lutheran
Church in Farmers Retreat and was a lifetime member of the Dillsboro American Legion Auxiliary. She loved bluegrass music and being with friends and
family. Her husband, Lloyd passed away in 1969. She was very proud of her house on Rullman Street in Dillsboro; she helped with building it and was
very particular about keeping it up. Besides her husband, Lloyd, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Shauna, and 2 sons, Mark and Eddie, 4
brothers and 4 sisters. Dana is survived by her daughter, Sheila Rullman, of Dillsboro, 12 grandchildren; Jobie , Tyler, and Tawnie Creek, Kami,
Jessie, and Cody Hamilton, Matt, Sara, Lloyd, and Joe Rullman, Regina Hartmann, and Lindsey Goodpaster; 6 great grandchildren; Josie and Jordan
Hartman, Alex and Ellie Rullman, Gage Bader, and Paisley Goodpaster. Also surviving is her sister, Shirley Weatherford, of Aurora, and several nieces
and nephews. The funeral service for Dana will be Tuesday, May 5, 2015, 11:00a.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Farmers Retreat, with Pastor Garry
Wickert officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at St. John Cemetery in Farmers Retreat. Friends may meet her family Monday, May 4,
2015 at DeVries Funeral Home in Dillsboro from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Memorials may be given to the American Legion Auxiliary.
