Brian Sulllivan, age 32, a lifelong Dillsboro resident, died unexpectedly on Wed, April 9, 2008 at Dearborn
County Hospital. He was born July 28, 1975 in Lawrenceburg to William "Ron" Sullivan and Janice Kuhlman
Sullivan. He graduated from Dearborn High School in 1993, and was a Mason and a member of the American Legion
Post 292. He served his country in the US Army from 1993-2001. On April 26, 1997 he was married to Cassie
Abele, and even though they divorced, Brian & Cassie remained close friends and have been wonderful parents
to their children. Brian also was a former volunteer fireman for Dillsboro Fire Dept. He was employed at
Lawrenceburg Distillery as a supervisor. Brian was preceded in death by his father, "Ron" Sullivan, and his
grandparents, Harold and Sadie Kuhlman and John and Helen Creech. Surviving is his mother, Janice Sullivan, of
Dillsboro; his 2 children, Jackson Hunter Sullivan and Emma Makenzie Sullivan; and his brother, Jason Mark
Sullivan. He is also survived by the mother of his children and his close friend, Cassie Abele. Funeral
services will be Monday, April 14, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. from Trinity Lutheran Church in Dillsboro. Interment is
in Oakdale Cemetery with full military honors from American Legion Post 292. Visitation will be at
Filter-DeVries Funeral Home in Dillsboro Sunday from 4-7 p.m. with Masonic rites at 7:00 p.m. Memorials may be
given to the family.
