Kenneth Andrew “Kenny” McAdams, 65 of Milan passed away Monday September 8, 2014 at his residence. Kenny was born Tuesday November 9, 1948 in Batesville, IN; the son of John and Della (McMurray) McAdams. He married Nancy (Smith) McAdams June 22, 1969 and she survives. Kenny was an Army Vietnam Veteran. He belonged to the Dillsboro American Legion and the Moores Hill Baptist church. Kenny worked at the shoe factory in Osgood and Wal-Mart in Aurora; He enjoyed fishing, hunting, listening to bluegrass, working on cars and wood working; and also he liked spending time with his family and friends.

Kenny is survived by his wife: Nancy McAdams of Milan; Daughters: Andrea Craig (George Fray) of Milan, Tracey (David) Burress of Dillsboro, Debra (Ben) Wheeler of Manchester; Mother: Della McAdams of Moores Hill; Brother: Dennis (June) McAdams of Versailles; Sister: Lillian (Dennis) Banks of Moores Hill; 5 Grandchildren Ashlee Hicks, Dakota Craig, Cheyenne Burress, Allison Burress, Maddy Burress; 3 Great-Grandchildren: Emlee Hicks, Kandynce Hicks, Carymn Hicks; Father-in-law, Mother-in-law, Brother-in-law, Uncles, Aunts, several Cousins. Kenny was preceded in death by his father: John McAdams.

Funeral services will be 2PM Sunday September 14, 2014, at Laws-Carr-Moore Funeral Home with Pastor Harris Long officiating. Burial will follow in Craven Cemetery with Military rites conducted by the Dillsboro American Legion. Visitation will be Sunday 12-2PM also at the funeral home.
